The necklace I'm wearing is one I spotted while perusing quaint stands in Maui the year before Darla was born. S. noticed my eyes linger a little longer on this necklace. I'm very cautious about purchases for myself and had no intention of buying anything, or even mentioning it. Unbeknownst to me, S. had been waiting for me to show interest in something and wasted no time sneaking back to the stand to buy it and surprise me with it later. 3 weeks later I surprised him with a positive pregnancy test.
A couple years ago S. bought me real pearls. They are beautiful. However, this is my favorite necklace.
Tonight it's your blog I visited. It means that I stay longer than just reading the most recent post - scroll down from the top to read up on what's been happening. This is the last post on this page (read all four of 'em) and while I enjoyed the three other posts and the pictures that went with them, this is the post that touches my heart the most.
ReplyDeleteI just love the love you and your husband share.
Thank you for this post.
Trust that in your active waiting and taking the position of worship and trusting the Lord in the battle you're in, some doors are being opened in the heavenlies.
Love
